Excellent work, gentlemen, as always, and congratulations on the article and our excellent club. There have over the centuries been close historical political and cultural ties between France and Scotland, as I am sure that you well know. Very few people here where I live, in Maryland, however, know that this state was named after Henriette Marie de France, Queen Consort of King Charles I. (Or, as you call her in England: Henrietta Maria) Sometimes subtle connections hide in plain sight.
