Whisky places in Paris

(Inspired by the Whisky places in London thread.) I am going to Paris in several months and I was wondering whether there are any whisky related places that I must/should visit while I am there, whether it is a whisky bar or a renowned whisky shop. I'll be there a week in case that helps. Any thoughts would be appreciated as I am starting at square one in terms of whisky related places. Any help is appreciated.

La Maison du Whisky is a no-brainer... One of the best shop in the world in my sense. The people are very competent and the whisky selection is simply astonishing . If you want to try a Japanese whisky, this is THE place (probably better than Japan !).

Lavinia, not far from there as a nice selection of whisky, but they are more renowned for their wine selection.

Otherwise, Nicolas is a chain of liquor stores that has a small selection, but they are everywhere in Paris.

The duty free at CDG in the terminal 2E is very nice. The price are maybe not there, but the selection is nice and there are exclusive travel retailer products. I bought a Laphroaig Triple Wood there for 65 euros for a liter... very nice.

Along with LMDW there's also the Curio Parlor: www.curioparlor.com

From what I've read LMDW have had a hand in getting them to where they are, but they are (as far as I know) the only Nikka authorised bar outside of Japan. I was on their mailing list for a bit while I was thinking of visiting Paris for a weekend and they seem to do lots of interesting stuff, as well as doing lots of music, so I suspect choosing your night carefully will be important if your going just for whisky.

It does look good, though.

@onebourbon I believe there's a guide to this very subject (where to drink and buy whisky in Paris) in this month's edition of Whisky magazine, Charlie Boorman on the cover. So if you can get a hold of a copy that it should be a useful insight.
