Whistle Pig 15yr Vermont Estate Rye is finished in wood from the whistle pig farm. It is the olders whistle pig release and costs around $200 per bottle. I am very thankful i didn't buy this bottle. It is awful.

Nose: Alcohol and something like rye Taste: Hot spicy and unrefined Finish: Better going down than coming up Balance: unremarkable

I'm sure that distillate was just fine when it left Alberta. What you Americans do with our spirit after it arrives in the US is your own responsibility.

@Nozinan I'm of course being a little tongue in cheek here. I don't know what they did to this whisky on the farm, but the single barrel whistle pig I have is everything this bottle isn't.

OK, not being a South Park viewer it took me a while to figure it out. Something made me think that maybe there was something in the body of your review that might not be original.

I now see the tongue in cheekiness, and the specifics of our beady eyes reference in better context...

@Nozinan Yes the song is about blaming Canadians as a means for avoiding personal responsibility. It seemed appropriate given the story of this whisky and the way whistle pig hyped that it was aged in wood from their farm.

@newreverie Not surprised. Anything can happen in the US...we've seen it. Trump got elected, Texas picked up Grilli and he pitched a perfect inning with 2 strikeouts, OGD 114 can be bought for $20.
