What a privilege! I am the first person in this entire world to have sampled the Single Cask Bunnahabhain 8 y.o. 2001, 60.3% and what an experience that was! Nose: pleasantly of old leather with an undertone of wood and some saltiness. Palate: surprisingly floral, very mellow, whiff of sea. Finish: long and pleasant. An excellent spirit! Independent bottler.

No, Andy McNeill is in the process of bottling it - AND, he's just filled half of it into a French Oak Cask. The "finish" should be ready in about 4 weeks - can't wait to see how it differs!
