The nose is full of peat with an undertone of spice, I could sit and sniff all day - very 'morish.' The taste is warm and wonderfully complex, it starts with a hint of sweetness then evolves into a nuts, salt and peat before a long finish of gentle spices and smoke. There is a medicinal hint, but it is a less upfront than the lagavulins or laphroaigs - more in the vein of an ardbeg.

Very smooth and powerful. Perfect for sitting in front of a heater on a cold night.
