Another sample from @wierdo that needed finishing off. My first try of this distillery too, which is always nice.

Nose - Old school English puddings, especially jam roly poly and custard with caramalised edges. A touch of sweeter spices and some orange peel. A wee nip about it as well.

Taste - More jam pudding, goes a little sour with lemon and orange then becomes drier as it develops but it definitely hugs the sweet side of the line.

Finish - medium with some soft tannins and residual jammy notes.

For a sample, this definitely improved with some air as I wasnt getting half as much clarity on the nose when first tasted. I enjoy the roly poly note as it was a childhood favourite, and it's quite unusual and the nose is very engaging. Not my favourite style it has to be said but fair do's it does a respectable job at a near mid-aged sherry bomb. My non-whisky drinking partner loved this when we did a wee tasting.
