The nose is floral with a hint of peaches. However there is an underlying suggestion of what I can only think of as dust. Hmmm, different but not sure it will catch on.

The palate is initially quite pleasant - lightly sweet with caramel. But then it all goes horribly wrong. It leaves a very bitter taste with a finish that descends into notes of flour and chalkdust. Even the odd hint of pure paracetamol. Yeah, it's unique shall we say?

At £26 I wasn't expecting the world's most wonderful whisky but surely it could have been better than this. G&M can be very hit and miss in my experience. I have had some very nice bottles from them but often they do scrape the bargain basement a bit too much. If you do try this one, enjoy the palate but pinch your nose for the finish. Not good.
