Warm Gentle smooth thick fruity arrival develops a long slow clean vegetable finish.
@Pandemonium Thanks for your input. I am sorry your experience with this expression was not as well received as mine was. I really took a lot of time with this one and can only let my review stand for its self. Thanks again and continued success in your whisky journey. (:
Had a taste of it at the distillery, didn't like it at all. I have a soft spot for the Machir Bay and adore the Loch Gorm. But this one just didn't feel right. My notes from August:
Nose: notes of citrus, biscuity malt, figs, brine and a fairly soft layer of smoke. Mouth: sharp on the palate, a body that is both creamy and briny: fruity notes of pears, some vanilla and wood polish Finish: medium long finish: peat, lime and elements of oak
