Nose: Really great peat wonder. Ashy, coastal, and rather medicinal. It's almost a bit on cardboard and hay, and it works here. A little and faint bbq (charcoal, not the sauce). Lemon and frosting. Vanilla. Bread pudding. It's a bit disjointed between traditional peat and the other aromas, but it's solid and highly enjoyable.

Palate: Honey, oily, hay, walnuts (subtle), linseed oil. Lemon and vanilla with a slowly developing sense of the peat, which is more earthy than coastal. BBQ. Burning charcoal. Powerful and graceful.

Finish: Lemon, peat with little to no smoke, and more oil from toasted flaxseeds. Pepper. Some bitter wood, but it's absolutely glorious. Tupelo honey. The more that I get into this, the better it is. Just a fabulous number.
