This Littlemill was bottled by Whisky Import Netherlands, WIN for short, under the First Cask label. This means it’s a single cask at cask strength. It’s 20 years old.

The nose is waxy, but expecially farmy and mineraly. Hard to describe, but – in my opinion at least – not spectacular. Wet dog. It takes a while for the fruit to come out: apple sauce, peach and oranges. Citrus and vanilla.

On the palate, it’s quite firm. Oily and very fruity. Apricots and prunes, but also grapefruit and pineapple. A bit of pepper and oak. Quite nice, in fact.

The finish lasts a long time and remains fruity. Wonderful!

Despite the somewhat quiet nose, this is a very good Littlemill. The finish is great. You can still find this bottle for around 100 EUR.
