This is one of the Springbank whiskeys that I had a change to taste at the distillery. This one has a very butter scotch nose. There is a hint of peat to come, like smoke in the fall air. After a taste this smokiness rounds on your taste buds. That is why I bought a bottle of it at their store and brought home.
