This is the most stunning whisky I have sampled over my months and years as a serious student of whisky. I first sampled at the Whisky Attic/Freaking Frog in Las Vegas NV, and my thanks to Adam Carmer, prop., for turning me onto this delight. I spent the next 6 months looking this rare bottle, finally with success! Now happily in my personal collection.
The nose is simply powerful! Maple syrup (!), gingerbread, and burnt caramel overwhelm the senses. This is going to be amazing! The palate is even richer: caramel cookies dipped in black cowboy coffee. Oily, almost waxy viscosity. That 55.9%ABV EtOH burn will get you! But the finish, oh the finish: fried breakfast potatoes drenched in maple syrup, complimented again with more unfiltered cowboy coffee.
Reminds me of a brisk autumn morning, enjoying breakfast prepared over a camp fire. Oh, the memories this dram conjures!
Bravo, Signatory! Phenomenal! Fabulous!

Wow, that sounds like a great addition though quite expensive. A very special purchase if it can be found.
