Nikka Black Crossover

The Nikka Black Crossover is the limited edition of a blend that Nikka released in 2017. It comes in a square black bottle.

The nose starts with sweet and fruity flavours: oranges, a touch of sherry, vanilla, and lemons. There is a good dose of smoke, too, followed by some chocolate flavours.

The palate is medium-bodied, round and smoky. The orange and vanilla flavours are back. Very malty and grainy too and very well balanced overall.

The finish is medium-bodied and just a bit dry. I got flavours of oranges, sherry and vanilla.

This is a good and decent blend that comes with a lovely combination of sweet fruity flavours and smoke. Not exceptional but good, solid work.
