@maltymatt Love the Amrut Fusion. Picking up a bottle of Amrut cask this weekend. It's got a ton of tropical fruit flavors....great depth....super good dram.

Balvenie 14 year Golden Cask here. I got a bit of vomit taste on first sip though, and it's taken me most of the dram to get over it. Not sure what that was all about.

@lostboyscout - wow - was it something you ate that may have left a lingering aftertaste that didn't adjust well when sipping the Balvenie?

Perfect snowy day for a dram of Springbank 18...nice little warming punch on the finish. Just got this 18 and I'm certainly not disappointed, but I'm thinking the 15 is still my favorite Springbank.

Getting down to the bottom of an Ardmore Traditional NAS. 'Love this Whisky! Open a few months it is drinking superbly. So rich and with a fantastic mouth-feel, I'm glad I have another full bottle and this might be an appropriate time to decant it; the Ardmore benefits from time in large glass with a large air space like non other and at 4 months is not at all as it opened with a richness of toffee and golden syrup swirls that reinforce, absolutely, the premiss that some Whiskies really need to be allowed to breathe / mellow out.

I don't think I've taken one of these past about 8 months, though I have tried - When it is drinking so well, I'm afraid there seems no point in not drinking it!
