I'm Dan. I live in Burton upon Trent in the UK which is a brewery town (Bass, Marstons, Ind Coope). I work in health care. I have 3 girls who are coming into their teens.
Been seriously into whisky for about 10-12 years (I'm in my mid 40s) I never looked back after a neighbour gave me a glass of Lagavulin 16. I like all whiskies but tend to favour scotch single malts. I'm quite seasonal in my tastes. When it's warmer I'll be more partial to bourbon and rye. When it gets cold I want a smoky scotch.
