@jeanluc, is "improved search" on your list?

I notice that when I search for something using the site's built-in search, it never (or maybe rarely?) turns up results from discussions. You mostly just get reviews. For example, I just searched "Kelpie." I find the Ardbeg Kelpie reviews, but none of the chatter about it, and I'm pretty sure there's been plenty.

Usually, if I'm trying to find something that we discussed here in the past, I have to use Google instead. Boo.

Private messaging is an important if lesser discussed feature on Connosr.

In order to PM someone you have to follow each other. Of course the person you want to message may not know that you want them to follow you.

In the old platform, I think there was a way that people were notified on the site (not the email, I never check it) and given the option to follow back. Is that an option for this site?
