I've tried n°1 and n°3, both very good. Differences are very subtle.

@WhiskyNotes I read that batch n°3 should be the most peated of all. But it's indeed likely that they would taste all quite the same, since it's the exact same procedure. Would you call it an interesting whisky? Is there anything you could compare it with? Grtz!

Hi, I've only got the first batch but really enjoyed it. I had a small taste of Batch 3 at a whisky festival and thought it was also great, with a more oily mouth feel and more smoke in the nose. Have fun!

I would say, that it is very hard to distinguish them if not compared directly. I have all three batches and would say if possible get a bottle of the 2nd. It is true, that the 3rd batch is more peated than the others but to be honest the difference is negligible. Overall the Tempest is not a typical Bowmore. There is no Sherry influence at all. If anything I would compare it to the 16 year Burbon Cask from Bruichladdich, but peated... The 4th batch should be released very soon. Maybe it is worth to wait...

@Mammon Hi, i already bought a bottle of batch n°2. I really like it, but my dad isn't that fond of it. De gustibus et coloribus!

Hi,
I might want to buy a bottle of Bowmore Tempest, but i don't know which batch. The second one and the third one are still available. Which one do you guys prefer?
Thanks
