Clynelish 10 Year Old 2010 Mobster on Mopeds

Han Solo would say 'Didn't we just leave this party?', because the 8th release of the girls and boys of BYOB-C in the series Mobsters on Mopeds was also a Clynelish. Then it was christened ‘Unleash the Cline’, while this one is tagged 'Dieses moped ist Sehr Schneilly'. How long did it take them to come up with that? Isn't that great? With Schneilly's letters, we can get started. What about that label with a biker in a cat mask? Well, you shouldn't look much further.

Beautiful nose on meringue, hazelnuts, pear, Granny Smith and gooseberries. The typical waxiness of the house is present, though. After a few moments, this is further supplemented with buttermilk, pineapple sweets and sweetened chamomile tea. Lime, mint and aniseed. Summery!

On the tongue it is also nice and waxy, as it should be. Sweet on vanilla, white fruit, nougat and applesauce, but also a little sour on grapefruit and lime juice. Beautiful herbal notes with chamomile and cardamom. So recognizable. And if you love Clynelish's style (like me), then you can't help but love this.

Do I find a beautiful trace of woodsmoke in the medium finish? Yes. Then there's lime, candied apricot and sultanas.
