How did you get the sample into the glass and keep the wax seal intact?

I was just reading that the Highland Park Light was just released. Supposedly around 52.9% ABV, 17YO, 4500 total bottles and a price of $300 (gulp!)

@DaveM, The only place I've seen it so far is Joyal's. $285. They ship.

Why is the mark/number so low? Everything but the abv, which can be adjusted with water, sounds very good.

A valid question. I did actually put a good amount of water into the dram after I wrote the review and slightly regretted giving it the lower mark because the dilution did improve it significantly. However I still felt that the high ABV made it absolutely overwhelming, even with the water.

@TheEnabler I usually do my reviews without, then with water.

I actually type the body of the review as a WORD file then copy and paste it (this avoids losing all my work if a glitch occurs), so I can see how I like it best before I give it a score online.

Also, you can edit your review up to an hour after posting.

Even then, sometimes a bit later, or days / weeks later, I wish I could change the score like we used to be able to (which is why I got into the habit of putting my scores in the body, so the original score would remain for the record...).
