@two-bit-cowboy their 14 year old clynelish is fantastic, in my opinion. regrettably, it's the only bottling of theirs that i've tried. i would love to try others....

I'll second @thecylclingyogi I love the Edition Spirits Clynelish 14. There's an older Clynelish from them that Reuben at whiskynotes scored a 90...

Thanks much for the feedback. There isn't a Clynelish in the current list of USA offerings, but I'm considering their 21 yr Bladnoch. Thanks again.

There doesn't seem to be much on the website about what exactly they have available. Also, are both of them any relation to the Liang family that runs Douglas Liang?

Yeah, they're the Laing sons...one assumes they've been exposed to good whisky :-)

@Mantisking don't know if it's the same family. Finding anything about them or their whisky is like going on a treasure hunt without any clues.
I did find a list of their current USA offerings, and there is indeed a Clynelish. Here's the list:

@two-bit-cowboy -- I know a few people that work for Douglas Liang so I'll have to ask them.

They're definitely the Laing sons but they claim Douglas Laing is merely an inspiration and not a direct source for their whiskies. I suppose they did inherit some kind of whisky gene though.

Forgot to mention that I've tried a handful of their bottlings: www.whiskynotes.be/tag/the-first-editions/ All worth trying, and yes, I really liked the Clynelish 22yo 1989.

@WhiskyNotes Thanks much, Ruben. A huge help. From the Swiss link I see that Patrick at whisky-pages has also reviewed some. All you really need in a treasure hunt is that first clue. Thanks again.

Hi all.
www.editionspirits.com
I've just discovered some of these guys bottlings are available, but I've not heard of them and can't seem to find any reviews on their offerings.
Does anyone have experience with their whiskies?
Thanks,
Bob
