I tasted the Teerenpeli 10yo single malt last night. Here's a quick review about it. I will be editing the review, when I get a chance to discover this whisky a bit more:

Well, I hope that Finnish 10 YO single malt, the first of its kind, beats Canada's first 10YO single malt. I never was much impressed with Glen Breton. Maybe it has improved with time.

There's been a lot going on in Finland lately. 3 new distilleries launched since 2013 (including a malted rye whisky distillery), first 10 year old Finnish single malt release (by Teerenpeli). We're living exciting times.
So because of that (and the fact that I try to concentrate in Finnish whisky as much as I can in my blog), I'll start a thread about whisky industry in Finland. My plan is to make presentations of Finnish whisky distilleries in English. I'll post them here too as soon as I get them done.
I'll start with some Teerenpeli info, in the form of distillery tour post way back: whiskyrant.com/teerenpeli-distillery-tour/
