Saw this on the whisky exchange and just couldn't resist, based on the beautiful chocolate expresso colour alone. 115€ for a 20 year old, full term sherry maturation seems o.k. It sold out fast, but they have a few more back in stock today.
I'll be quick.
Nose: Deep heavy sherry, so prunes, raisins, blond tobaccos and orange blossom galore. Beautifully thick and heavy. Enchantment. Mouth: perfect heavily sherried glenlivet. Chocolate, oranges, wormwood, salted something or other, raisins, prunes and a delicate tiny whisper of smoke. Camphor and mint in the finish.
Old school whisky....
