I had this a few times so i could give a fair review of it. This was 44 dollars at costco and let me tell you i am happy. Nose: Oak, smoke, cherries, apricots, apples, some vanilla, a dash of spice with fresh hay, peat. Palate: Cherries, oak, apricots, apples, some spice, peat, vanilla Finish: Last a while and it sneaks up on you, cherries, apricots, vanilla, oak and spice.

For it being 44 dollars i recommend it, and since it is so good for so little it gets 98/100, the overall quality and value is a win/win for me.

I cannot confirm this is a macallan i have heard Aberdeen shire is the location for macallan but my only point of reference is macallan directors edition which is much lighter.

This sounds absolutely fantastic and for an incredible price. I will definitely be going to Costco in the next few weeks and would like to pick up a couple bottles; could you email me a picture of the bottle so I know what it looks like. My email is t4sho3@gmail.com Thank you again for this review, I am very intrigued.

Of course i can, while it is not a macallan i will say it is close like macallan with more oak and less sherry.
