Look here... another Macduff for Asta Morris. Crazy Bert apparently also likes this one a lot, because it's already his fifth cask. Could it be that this is a sister cask of the Macduff he released last year? #AM020 was also a former sherry cask from 2012 and I loved it.

Yes! What a delicious nose. Sweet, very sweet on toffee apples, sultanas, pomelo, coconut, cinnamon, anise and licorice.

On the palate, this Macduff goes a step further. First of all, it offers a lot of spiciness. Feel free to call it piquant. A Macduff with balls! Then some to citrus fruit, coconut, English liquorice and something green that I can't immediately put my finger on. Great strength, by the way. And yes, it’s like a twin to the Macduff that Bert bottled last year. Identical twin, by the way.

The English licorice returns in the finish, complemented by a creamy hint of green banana.

Bert, I don't have to teach you anything about doing business, I know that, but isn't 65 EUR a bit ridiculously cheap for such a great whisky?
