This looks cool. I checked out the site and couldn't find a list of single malt representatives or american distilleries. Any ideas on where I can find a list?

They should have more info posted in a few days. Tix don't "officially" go on sale until August 1. This is only the 2nd year, and they have only just now decided to open the festival to include scotch. As of now, I know that there will be a brand ambassador for Highland Park. When I see more announcements, I will post. As they did last year, they are having a week of whiskey events leading up to the main event on Saturday. I believe Wednesday night is a cocktail competition, Thursday a Buffalo Trace Premium tasting which I attended last year, and Friday night is a Women in Whiskey seminar.

Now updated with much more information, including events leading up to the Grand Tasting and some of what to expect during the VIP hour! Good stuff!

Here is a list of distilleries that will be in attendance. I recommend purchasing a VIP ticket as this gets you an hour to sample higher end bottles before the main crowd enters. Also, " VIP ticket holders will have a very special, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend an exclusive Scotch tasting event hosted by well-known Whiskey personality who will be pouring a selection of premium whiskies from Glenmorangie and Ardberg Scotch distilleries." I have been told that this will begin around quarter til 7, giving you ample opportunity to make the most of the hour before general admission.
Last year was all bourbon. I am interested in seeing how well the Scotch selections will be received. Hope to see some of you there!

@Onibubba, that is really great that Nashville is now putting on a regular annual whiskey festival. And it is also a rather clever move to time the Nashville Festival the week BEFORE the Bardstown Kentucky Bourbon Festival. Oh yeah, VIP tickets to almost any of these whisk(e)y events is the way to go, if you want to drink the best and/or the most expensive stuff they have.

Tickets go on sale August 1 for the 2nd annual Nashville Whiskey Festival. Last year, it was all American Whiskey, but this year, Scotch Whisky enters the fray. Grand tasting event is Saturday Sept. 14th at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Smaller tasting events the week prior. Last year, I attended the Antique Collection tasting, but passed on the grand tasting. This year, I am VIPing the Grand Tasting.
