Hi all, conscious not to bombard people with our regular whisky events here but just thought that this rare opportunity might be of interest to a few of you - on April 5th we're hosting a bourbon tasting session, which includes the chance to try Pappy Van Winkle 12 and 15 year old as part of it. Tickets are available on a private link here: eventbrite.co.uk/e/… using the password #WhiskyWedsPVW - hope to see/meet some of you here for it!
I figured it was in London but clicked anyway to find out what you were serving.
All Buffalo Trace distillery products I see. (Assuming that White Dog is BT White Dog.) Your pricing is really pretty good. In the US a pour of VW12 or PVW15 would typically cost a lot more than 15 pounds per. Don't know what your pour size is, though.
@Victor Thanks Victor!! I agree it's an absolute steal - especially considering it's usually a "pour your own" for these events, but as we're tasting 4-6 each time people are usually relatively restrained - needless to say though, the PVW will be measured out - it'll be a 25ml shot offered for each price point (£15 each shot basically - which is a bargain!)
@amycoco, I agree with you that for 25 ml pours, you are offering very good prices relative to typical bar/restaurant prices for these whiskeys. And 25 ml is enough to get a very good acquaintance with the whiskey.
