I looked at the lineup. Some are interesting but with today’s uncertain economic climate I cannot justify the cost.
I would normally be tempted to do the Livermore class and would love to to hear him speak, but given that I own or have tasted all but one in the line-up, I will save room for others in the class.
@Nozinan No doubt an interesting experience but $179 to $305 for 120ml of whisky (including $30 for shipping - illegal outside of Ontario, LOL) is tough to swallow. Having said that, Johanna has done a bunch of these since last April and they've all sold out, so I must just be a cheep dude.
I feel like the line-up for this round isn't as interesting or strong as the last one. That said I'm with y'all on the cost, I am not the target audience or I'm not enough of an influencer to be able to write this off as an expense.
I know that 25$ gets you access to presentations only, last time I thought it was worth it as I was curious to hear Todd Leopold & the Daftmill folks
@65glenfarclas, I did some of these last year and there is not good value in them. It is nice to have some single cask offerings from the distillery; however, I would rather put $200 towards a 700 ml bottle...I can drink that during Lockdown too.
Who's going to Spirit of Toronto on Saturday? I'm in!
