The reviewed sample is compliments of @maltster. There is no age statement. The bottle is believed to be aged 8-12 years, and was stored 40+ years in a bar

Nose: metallic, like tin, a little malt, a hint of salt, understated and not compelling

Taste: Whoa! cocoa, and gravelly with deep earthy tones and kerosene; some more tin. Refined? maybe refined in the sense of heating oil. Sour...

Finish: sourness continues...and subtle everything else

Balance: some, not a lot...sour with a touch of salt and malt...

Not one of the better Taliskers at this point, robust though, and hearty...except that the robust and hearty flavours are not the more desirable ones
