Transporting Your Whisky Glass

@Alanjp Personally, I'd do it the way I do my glass christmas decorations, which is with paper towel. With the glasses, you can even give it extra support by stuffing the inside with paper towel as well. Our christmas decorations always survive, and I'm pretty sure it would be good for your glasses as well. Just put a few layers of the paper towel on the outside to protect it from most of the shock.

Oh and I did mean to wrap each one individually, by the way. Didn't make that 100% clear in my post.

Adding onto HDP's wrapping idea, I'd go to your local liquor store and ask for a few case boxes with internal dividers. Wine boxes are usually 12-packs. After you wrap each glass, slip it into one of the partitioned slots for extra protection. I have a huge collection of beers glasses that I've packed this way. I've been dragging them around for about 30 years, and I've never broken a glass.

@two-bit-cowboy: +1 cartons, and wrap in newspaper and none to neatly; a rough wrap has a lot more protection due to the elasticity.

@Alanjp Individually wrap with bubble wrap and packing tape. In a large sturdy box pack glasses in styrofoam peanuts. Will successfully transport even the most delicate crystal. This is info given to me by my admiral (wife). Hope this is helpful. :)

Thanks for the suggestions, I think i'll be using a combination of most of your ideas to be honest! Plenty of bubble wrap, paper towels, divided boxes etc. Much appreciated!
