A good friend asked me to recommend a Whisk Liqueur this weekend. My experience in this area is limited, does anyone have any suggestions?

@JL, the only one I know (and that my wife likes) is Baileys. On another note, I'm saddend that two bottles were emptied today and hence archived: the Greenore, both the 8 and 15 Year Old.

Regarding Baileys, I find the taxfree Baileys Gold much better than the regular one. The whiskey seems to be of better quality and it isn't as sweet as the regular one. It still has a sticky and stale finish and destroys your palette but to each his own...

I've been reading good things about Compass Box Orangerie Whisky Infusion.

This Compass Box Orangerie Whisky Infusion looks interesting indeed. Anyone already tried this one?

Compass Box Orangerie is great, but don't expect it to be regular whisky and don't expect it to be a liqueur either. It's what it is, an infusion, like adding some orange water to your whisky. Highly recommended with chocolate mousse by the way!
