@markjedi1 Well OK I understand you now. Have to translate a lot, because I normally don't use words like zesty. When I searched it I found a german word for spicy or piquantly.

@Wills No worries, Wills, that's what this forum is for. When you try the Auchentoshan Springwood, you'll understand even better! :-)

My 25th video rambling is here! I’m not always big on finishes (they are often hit & miss imho), but this rum finished Laddie gets it right. It was bottled especially for the Belgian market. Check it out on YouTube at youtu.be/ubaYUSd6rM8. Enjoy.

Great video! Your Auchentoshan friend is very sympathetic, he sees you suffering and hurries to pour you a dram of that Toshan you never had the chance to try before. :)

Check out youtu.be/dyXaqtoXzT4 for Whisky Rambling 29, the new Isle of Jura release (their first!) by Malts of Scotland. It has special meaning to me, since the cask was more or less selected by my good friend Glenn, who is known as the Jura Man. Enjoy!

The last Whisky Rambling of 2012 can be found at youtu.be/xXVjDJmTbFY. Since it is winter, I went for a peaty whisky. Not from Islay, though. We try one from the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan! Hope you enjoy this video review of the Hakushu Heavily Peated. Slàinte!

For the 31st Rambling I wanted to go back to basics and check out the Talisker 10 Year Old. It is simply an essential Scotch that should be in everyone’s cabinet. Check out the video at youtu.be/Xgm6Vrntd4I. Enjoy!

Again a nice rambling and I like the fact that you take us to the outside from time to time. The Talisker 10 is quite a 'standard' for me too. You still got so much snow in Belgium? Over here we got quite a springtime weather.

Btw. where is the old music?!

@markjedi1 - Your video was extremely enjoyable and informative. The storyline is the video itself - the review is fun and educational. Who are the supporting actors in the snowball fight? You have a new follower.

@Wills You approve of the new music or do you prefer the old version? Both were created by a friend in the States, actually. New year, new music was my thought. And in fact, I taped this a week ago, but the snow has cleared by now.

@paddockjudge Ha, those two kids are my son Kobe and my eldest daughter Sarah (I have another daughter Amber, but she hates the snow, can you believe it?). Thanks for the support!

Did Victor create the music? :) I prefer the old tune because it is linked to your ramblings for my mind. But the new one is good too. It's up to you ofc.

And yeah, lot is going on in this video. Snowball fights and then the snow-angles, good job kids :D

markjedi1 replied

@Wills No, it was not Victor :). The kids loved your comments too. I also enjoyed the comment somewhere down the line of enjoying my taking you outside from time to time. Wheather permitting, I will do a little more of that. Next week, I'm leaving for Austria (snowboarding vacation). I will pack my gear and two bottles of whisky and use some of the stunning scenery for another set of whisky ramblings.
