Happy belated birthday @talexander and @paddockjudge. Sorry I’m late with the greetings, but hope you both had a great day filled with great drams!

Yes, @Victor you introduced me to @talexander ...... making you responsible for the consumption of hundreds of litres of whisky since then.

It should have happened sooner.

@paddockjudge and @talexander happy belated birthday! Did either of you open up anything new and special for the occasion?

@Nock @paddockjudge Nothing new - picked up an Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye (which I've had before) - delish! Pam got me a Cadenhead's Dailuaine 14yo so I'll have to find the right opportunity to crack that one!

@Nock, @talexander, I rolled out the ladder and went all the way to the very top shelf for this one. Shared a wee birthday dram with my nephew, coincidentally named Sam.

I wanted to honour my USA Connosr colleagues - times are tough down south, and a little solidarity is called for.
@paddockjudge and I did some zooming, and though neither of us was much for drinking, the conversation was excellent.
In addition to the company, I enjoyed micro pours of Elijah Crag Barrel Proof (67.8% sample from long ago), and Booker’s (my blend of four 2015 batches).
Happy birthday USA ! You know better times have to be ahead... (cause it’s hard to imagine it could get worse...)

@cricklewood - Happy Birthday! It’s a little early here. :-) Will raise a dram in your honor later today.

Looking forward, if the stars align, to raising a dram with @cricklewood. Early favourites for the honour include:
Amrut peated port pipe-matured, because I still have some of your sample and you are the one who selflessly managed to get me a discounted bottle of it.
Amrut Single cask bourbon cask matured from the LCBO releases, because I have a little left and I remember how much you loved it.
Octomore 7.3, because it's one of your favourites
Alberta Premium cask strength, because, well, you know why...
Happy Birthday @Cricklewood!

@Happy Birthday, @cricklewood! One of these years, after the US/Canada border is re-opened I may get a chance to meet you.

I know I've made myself scarce around here of late, much of what is happening has taken the fun out of many things and sadly whisky is one of then. I still want to thank all of you for such warm birthday wishes! It's much appreciated.
I'm having a cup of coffee with a side dram of Foursquare Premise rum. Raising it back at all of you!
Merci
