The Longrow CV is now empty. I hope the PC8 is up to the task or I'll have to plan a trip to Ontario.

I took the last oz. or so of my Glenfiddich 12 & Canadian Club Classic 12 and combined them into my own "Random Blend Bottle", to be sampled at some point once other remnants are ready to be added.

And another one gone. Bowmore 1990, Signatory Unchillfiltered Series. Won't be buying more Bowmore anytime soon.

Amrut Peated, yesterday night with very good friends (almost family). Still as good as the first dram I had a couple of months ago.

Sadly, finished my 15yr old Laphroaig that is no longer in production. I reckon if I knew they'd skip the 15 and produce the 10 and 18 exclusively, I might have kept the 15 longer. Sad to see one of the greats retired. So long my sea spirited friend...

Finished off my bottle of Bruichladdich Waves. I wasn't very impressed with that malt, so i wasn't too sad to see it empty... unlike a Lagavullin 16 or Uigidail .. seeing those bottles empty brings a tear to my eyes....;>)

Johnnie Walker Blue Label (20 cl). A farily decent blend, but nothing special. There's really nothing in it that justifies the high price. I myself wouldn't rate it higher than the Black Label for example. This whisky pales in front of a, say, Talisker 18 or Laphroaig 18.

Took a half a bottle of Ben Nevis 10 yo to poker night with some friends. Apparently it was a success since in the morning i found the bottle empty. A drinkable dram, but not so much to my taste.

Finished a 30 year old Glen Grant recently. Bottled under The Single Malts of Scotland brand by Speciality drinks aka The Whisky Exchange.

Bought this a good 5 years ago on the advice of Duncan Ross. Prices had jut started to go a bit mad already and I recall paying about £55 for it. Seemed pretty good value then but can you imagine paying that now for an independent 30 year old? OK you can track down the odd bargain now but not many like that.

Was my go to bottle when I wanted a bit of luxury without cracking into something a bit special. I'll miss it dependability. Do I regret not doing a tasting note? Not really, it wasn't that sort of a dram. Just pour, smell, drink & enjoy.
