I just finished one of my Talisker Dist. Edit. 1999. Fortunately I have several of these bottles on stock.

Glenfarclas 40yo, best bang for the buck. No frilly packaging to bump up the cost. Just pure, lovely 40 yo spirit.

Earlier this week i finished my bottle of Glengoyne 21yr old, cracking dram, and it was sad to see it come to an end. Especially as it was the bottle i purchased at the Connosr Glengoyne Distillery event!

Poured the last from a 1995 Old Weller Antique. A superb bourbon.

Enjoying the last of my GlenDronach Original 12yr.... I will be replacing this bottle within days. I find it an enjoyable everyday favorite... This is one of my most recent purcheses (I think it was the last bottle I bought actually) and I have about 5 other bottles that are lingering with 1 or 2 pours left.

Just polished off a Dalmore 12. Not bad at all, but I don't think I'll go back there again. Heaps of sherry, but a little contrived for mine.

Just finishing my bottle of Alberta Premium 30 year old rye. I have enjoyed it, but keep on finding myself qualifying my descriptions with "for a rye" Was it good, yes. Would I buy it again, no. Next time I would buy the cheap stuff, and put the difference towards a bottle of scotch!

poured the last drop from my Bruichladdich Peat...an honest dram but a bit too youngish for my tastebuds...

I felt the same way about this guy... Heard so many GREAT things about it, had to beg and plead to get a bottle from the Liquor Store, and upon sipping, said to myself, "This is a awesome....for a rye."

The Spice Tree is now empty. Bad news. But the good news is that it's time to open Longmorn 15. Yes, 15! Should I?

I helped my sister retire her bottle of Old Grand-Dad 114 yesterday. I just smile and laugh whenever I think about that stuff.

Bushmills Original. I'll probably replace it with a bottle of Red Breast 12 or Black Bush, haven't made up my mind yet.

I just finished my Balvenie 14 year old Caribbean Cask and my Red Breast 12. The Balvenie was great, however I think I will continue trying others and try something else new. I really enjoyed it, don't get me wrong, it was very spicy and warm and always a pleasure. Next up is a bottle of Dalmore 12, and the Red Breast will be replaced for St. Paddy's Day!

I just finished a bottle of Rittenhouse Rye 100 BIB last night. I loved it, but I'm going to try a new rye next time. I'm sure it will find its way back into my bar at some point though.

I just finished a bottle of Glenfiddich 12. I was never the biggest fan of it but my stepfather gets me a bottle every christmas so I'm sure I'll be receiving a replacement bottle in a few months. Maybe it's just nostalgia, but the last couple drams were tasting pretty good.

Buffalo Trace bourbon. 1st bourbon ive ever bought didnt disappoint. All the vanilla and caramel notes you expect from a fine bourbon and rounded/balanced on the palate. Unpretentious, every-day bourbon fit for friends and great conversation.

Had a night out with the boys playing cards, brought over a bottle of Bowmore 12 and half a bottle of Bowmore 15 yr darkest. For guys who don't drink alot of scotch the bottles seemed to get empty rather quickly. For 3 of the guys it was there first time drinking Bowmore. At the end of the night 3 guys preferred the 12 yr and 2 of us the 15yr. Made for an enjoyable night.

I finished my Laphroaig Quarter Cask. I have to wait until the SAQ (here in Quebec) receives the next order (usually twice a year). But I just bought the Laphroaig Triple Wood, so I will be OK meanwhile. It is a Quarter cask with an extra finish in Sherry... very nice indeed !

Balvenie 12 Year Doublewood, replaced with a bottle of Mcallen 12. I will definitely get another bottle of the Balvenie, however I would like to upgrade to the 21 Portwood the next go around.

Glenfiddich 15yo, very nice whisky indeed. Quite a step up from the 12. Certainly one to reccomend, especially to the ones who like their whiskies smooth and fruity.

Glenlivet 12. A good one to have for those times when you just want to have a pleasant drink while you do something else, but to me not one that will ever be an event in its own right.
