Dalwhinnie is a soft tasting whisky but has a real spiced flavour which I dislike.
Picked this up at Duty Free, where a litre was around £30 or so. True Bowmore character, salty, lots of peat, great finish. If you see it, buy it.
Balblair is a real soft tasting whisky. It is very sweat in the beginning with a real tasteful finish. Has a hint of peat.
Like all lowland whiskies this one is fresh and fruity. It has a nice flavour but is not the best of the lowlands. Bladnoch and rosebank are better but more expensive.
Surprise yourself, just as I did, by a whisky which does not mention its age. Forget your prejudice. Enjoy the soft, smokey taste which lasts surprisingly long. Experience the desire to smell it, again…
