Ardbeg 1975 bottled 2003

First love Ardbeg Ardbeg 1975 bottled 2003

Nose (23): Vanilla & barley tease you and invite you in for a closer inspection. The subtlest peat is there but seems to be masked by Lübeck Marzipan. A faint citrus zestiness is also evident.Taste (22…

Staple Bourbon Maker's Mark

A little spicier than your normal bourbons with a nose of fruits and honey. Tastes of sweet honey along wheat induced spices and a hint of oak. Ends with a sweeter creme brulee taste that is very char…

Knob Creek 9 Year Old

Chuncky, Very Good Bourbon Knob Creek 9 Year Old

A nose of honey and cocoa with a touch of vanilla. Very sweet tasty with the influence of rum and return to honeycomb. Big in character and ends with an explosive finish.

Blanton's Original

Not what I expected... Blanton's Original

Decent start to the higher end bourbons but dominated by corn from start to finish. Slightly limited in scope but would be good to mix perhaps.

Crown Royal

Great to Mix Crown Royal

Nose is dry and somewhat grapey. Fruity at first taste but peaks out with spices and becomes bitter. Perhaps a blending problem that could be corrected in years to come. Still a very decent whiskey.

Crown Royal Cask No 16

Cognac! Crown Royal Cask No 16

Nose is very grapey similar to the regular CR but with a unique addition of cognac. Struggles to find a true shape but perfect whisky of grace and refinement with little depth.
